I am lazy – super, super lazy. I absolutely love cooking, but most of the time you won’t find me in the kitchen for more than an hour at the time (and that’s only on special days). I think I just like sitting down too much.
Sooo, over the years I’ve come up with loads of quick vegetarian dinners that only take 20 minutes (or less!) to make – so you can get yourself in the kitchen, make a quick meal, and sit and eat it. Ridiculously simple, just how cooking should be!
Here’s a collection of some of my favourite ridiculously quick vegetarian dinners that take a maximum of 20 minutes to make (assuming you don’t take ten minutes to chop an onion…). You don’t even need to faff with loads of side dishes, as most of these recipes will work perfectly on their own! Enjoy!
So I was out to eat and this child(maybe 3 years old) in the booth next to us started crying loudly. The mom tried to calm him down but he started to go into tantrum mode and fussed even more. So she picked him up and walked out of the restaurant to a bench outside our window. We could hear her ask him, “look at me, what’s upsetting you?” To which he responded with more crying. So she says, “Well you’re clearly overwhelmed, so we’re going to sit out here and take a break until you can compose yourself and tell me what’s wrong.” Which is exactly what happened after a couple minutes. Anyways I just think it’s so good to speak to your children in a logical, respectful manner instead of shushing them and leaving them to deal with their stress alone.
" It takes a level of self love, of dedication and determination to live your greatest life. So, look within. Look at every area of your life and ask yourself these questions: Am I on course? Am I growing mentally, emotionally and spiritually? Anything that is blocking that, anything that is preventing you from living your greatest life, make the tough decision to let it go. "
